Loads of Great Stuff about ‘Petite Plus Size’

New Look Petite Jeans – they’re 28 inches short!

By Vikki • Oct 4th, 2008 • Category: All, New Look, Petite Jeans, Petite Plus Size

Hola!

So I’ve got to say, although I don’t feature sites who don’t have a dedicated petite range. NewLook‘s fantastic range of short jeans in leg length 28 inches is brilliant and they even do them in their inspire range so you can get sizes 6 to 26 – that’s massive!!

Here are my favourite pairs:

Shimmy 28in Short Leg Jeans

Short Jeans

These are great, they’re slightly flaired at the bottom to elongate your legs.

Hoola Inspire Plus Size Short Jeans – 28 inches

Short Jeans

These petite plus size jeans are great for curvey ladies. The wider flair on the bottom will balance out larger hips and flatter your shape.

Evans petite plus size clothing range

By Vikki • May 6th, 2008 • Category: All, Evans, Petite Plus Size

Evans petite range

Evans is the key store for the plus size petite. As my sister and mother are both curvier ladies you can’t ask for more than the petite range at Evans.

Does it have it’s own petite clothing collection?

Yes, Evans has it’s own petite range listed at the bottom right hand navigation when you get to the site.

What sizes does it offer?

Evans’ petite range comes in sizes 14 to 32, clearly focusing on the plus sized petite.

What is Evans delivery policy and costs?

Evans don’t seem to have a free delivery options, but I’ll get on to them and try and get a discount code for you, keep checking back for updates. The standard delivery cost is £4 and next day is only £5 so not too bad anyway.

And what about their returns policy?

This is just the same as Wallis, you have 14 days to return an item and to do this you have to go to their site and download a form to send along with it, seems a little complicated but I suppose if you want to send your things back then you have to do it. The good thing is that its free to return the items you order.

The other option is to return it to store but I would reccommend taking the order form with you.

OFFERS

They are currently running a sale where items can be found from £7

Are you too late for this offer? Well click here to go to the site and see what they have on offer now.

So come on Vikki, how easy is the site to use?

Navigation: Evans have a really simple left hand navigation with some key functional links at the top. They only have 3 categories within their petite section but they cover your 3 key areas:

Product Page: Once you get to the product page, strangely enough, you’ll find all of the information about the product (duh!). This includes the materials the garment is made of, sizes available, and even details of returns and delivery options within the product page.

Shopping Basket: To add something to your shopping basket you have to first select a size and then click on add to bag. A pink box will then show up indicating that your product has been addded to your basket. They also have a nice wishlist function available too!

Checkout: If you click on the proceed to check out then you are taken to a page where you can either input previous account details or register. If you choose to register there is only 3 steps to completion of your order so not to worry either way… and yes it’s all secure :)

And what’s your favourite bit of petite clothing on there then?

These petite jeans are great! They are bootleg and come in a great shade of indigo totally suited to the curvier large petite sizes.

Yo Shorty Petite Points:

I’m going to give Wallis petite range 3 out of 5 points a little lower due to the high value of the free delivery and that not all items go up to the size 32 as they suggest, but if you are a plus size petite then you can’t go wrong with Evans for quality and variation.

M and Co Petite Collection

By Vikki • May 3rd, 2008 • Category: Accessories, All, Discount Codes, M and Co, Petite Clothing Sites, Petite Plus Size, Petite over 50

Previously known as Mackays M and Co is great for the petite lady who is looking for a classic wardrobe with key peices from the season thrown in.

Does it have it’s own petite clothing collection?

Yes, M and Co has its own petite clohing section on the site and it is clearly labled on the top navigation of the site.

What sizes does it offer?

M and Co’s petite range comes in sizes 6 to 20 catering for all of us, from the plus size petite to more slender frames.

What is M and Co’s delivery policy and costs?

Curently M and Co are offering free delivery on all orders over £40! Brilliant!! You can’t ask for any better than that. The standard delivery cost is only £3.50 too so if you don’t spend £40 then it’s really reasonable anyway.

And what about their returns policy?

Now this couldn’t be easier, just fill in the returns form which will be in with your clothes and then put the free returns address label on there and take it to the post office. M and Co will then refund your money within 28 days. Howere please note that if you took them up on their free delivery and then choose to return the poduct you will be charged for the postage.

You can also take the product to any M and Co store with the card you used and they will refund it straight away!

What offers do they have on?

Well at the moment they have a 20% off summer sale. It’s running until the 9th of May just insert the discount code 412112 in when you go to checkout and the money will be taken off your balance.

Are you too late for this offer? Well click here to go to the site and see what they have on offer now.

So come on Vikki, how easy is the site to use?

Navigation: They have a great navigation where you can see their main collections across the top and then the sub categories on the left. They also have FAQ’s for any questions you might have.

Product Page: Once you get to the product page they tell you everything you might need to know about the product including:

  • Its name
  • Product Number
  • Price
  • Size info
  • Wash ifo
  • Fabric composition

They also have a really simple way of ticking items in stock, crossing items out of stock and also offering you the option to recieve an email when it comes back into stock.

Shopping Basket: The only thing that confused me is that unlike other sites where when you click on an item you want you are taken to the shopping basket they just tell you that the product has been added, this meant that I managed to add 3 skirts to my basket! Ooops!!

Checkout: Once you decide to check out you will be asked to add your email and then proceed to checkout. Once you get to the checkout it is clearly marked that there are 4 steps in total to checkout. They also have info on the security on their site, and the lock symbol is shown so you know your in safe hands.

And what’s your favourite bit of petite clothing on there then?

These long shorts are perfect to shove on with a nice vest top though the day or a shimmering eveningwear top. A holiday essential and at £9.50 you can’t complain at the price!

Yo Shorty Petite Points:

I’ve got to give M and Co a great 4 out of 5. Apart from the confusing add to basket this is a brilliant site with brilliant peices of petite fashion.
