I don’t know if you saw it last night but my favourite petite celeb, Cheryl Cole, had an awesome gold bow ring on on the X Factor. Now I haven’t got a picture yet but bow rings are definately on trend for the autumn winter season. Here’s Gwyneth Paltrow wearing hers.

So I’ve got to say, although I don’t feature sites who don’t have a dedicated petite range. NewLook’s fantastic range of short jeans in leg length 28 inches is brilliant and they even do them in their inspire range so you can get sizes 6 to 26 – that’s massive!!

Sorry that I’ve been away for so long, you know what it’s like over the summer. I’ve been away for a couple of nice breaks but now I’m raring to go with all the best news and reviews from the short perspective.

So I thought to start off you preggers petites were being neglected on this site so I’m going to start with a review of one of the best maternity sites online FunMum. They’ve got a whole section dedicated to the petite Mum to be.

If you’re looking for some great work pants then these black short length petite maternity trousers are great.

For you guys who want to chill out at the weekend these great combats are now reduced to only £15!

If wearing court shoes opt for a pointed toe instead of a round toe it lengthens your legs.

Jessica Simpson shows this perfectly with her fantastic patent leather shoes and at 5′3″ she’s as petite as they come… although you’d never think it.

Don’t wear T-Straps, bows, or heavy buckles on your footwear because it creates a wide, chunky effect.

Poor Melissa Joan Heart I’m always picking on this outfit, but with these aweful platforms cutting her off at her ankle it makes her look about a foot shorter than she is.

Do wear flats, but keep your outfit simple, hem lines on or above the knee or skinny jeans.

Reese Witherspoon shows this pefectly with her simple outfit and fantastic animal print pumps.

Stay away from belts that are too wide or colourful, go for slim belts as they won’t overwelm your frame.

Cheryl Cole shows this perfectly with her super short yellow dress and black slimline belt which sets it off perfectly.

So thoses are the rules you don’t have to stick to them but I would try and keep them in mind when you’re looking around the shops.

I don’t really know what else to say I’m a little overwelmed. They do some great short length jeans as well as fantastic tops and shoes. Only problem is that they don’t have a petite range, however as they have short length trousers so we’ll let them off.

Don’t forget it’s only on for one week so get there fast or they’ll be back to 100% and a sale is the only time when you’re pleased to have a cup half full!
